Lebeda
Depending who you're asking, the number of Lebeda species is somewhere between 8 and 11. All the members occur in the warmer regions of Asia and look very similar. They are medium to larger sized moths.
Despite the fact that the moths all look quite similar, the caterpillars do not. Their life cycle is quite variable as well. Some have overwintering eggs (nobilis), others have 2 annual flights or brood more or less continuously.
The rearing of most species is easy, but can be slow.
