The African Pantophaea are medium sized, mostly grey hawk moths. There are only five species in the genus, four on the continent (mostly the southern half of Africa) and one on Madagascar.

The rearing is similar to many Sphinx or Acherontia. It goes fast, fast, fast … and is ridiculously easy. Just keep on feeding them and all will go just fine.
