The Leucanella are medium sized moths belonging to the Hemileucinae subfamily and somewhat similar in appearance to Automeris but usually with more narrow and pointed forewings. The little over 40 species in this genus occur in Central and South America.

The rearing is usually pretty straightforward and not difficult at all. Treat them like you would do with an Automeris species.
