There is only one Pachypasa species: Pachypasa otus, a large grey moth from southern Europe and the Middle East. 

The rearing is easy but slow. The caterpillars overwinter and should be placed in a cool, but frost free room. They never go completely dormant and you should replace the food regularly. The moths emerge late spring.
